Like Ricky Martin or Wanda Sykes. If you can't or don't have the balls to START your career as an out and proud person then keep it to yourself. The world barely cares about these people as celebrities, what makes them think we care who they're fucking? And this guy, to invoke the name of a person who killed themselves as the reason they "saw the light" is just down right repugnant. So, what? You couldn't think of a single reason to come out until a total stranger killed themselves for reasons I can guarantee you and I will never understand? I call bullshit. Somehow it's enough for us non-celebs to simply, quietly and proudly live our truth but we're all supposed to clap and cheer because some cowardly 34 year old couldn't find the balls to come out until it was "socially relevant" to their career?
