Under The Tuscan Sun - aahhh, I love that one! It seems I am always drawn to those that are about writers - like Sex And The City as well... And, Diane Keaton is a writer in Something's Gotta Give as well, which I agree, is great.

Ooh, some great ones on here... I saw Auntie Mame once, years ago, need to revisit that one! Also totally loved Moonstruck, which I have seen probably a dozen times, and His Girl Friday is also totally awesome!

And I think Wall-E and Up will be on the list going forward... amazing flicks!

These are some of the classics that I can watch repeatedly. I don't think any of the newer ones have been risen to that status yet. I have to wait and see if they continue to appeal upon future viewings. Although I do know that Up, Over the Hedge, and WALL-E,have already made it there!

hubbie was having a re-run boredom of the Matrix trilogy the other day and I had to put my foot down (well go in other room) I just don't want to see them again, however we watched Unbreakable again Saturday and i really enjoyed.. its the 'Hero' element i think, that and I've always found something sexy about Willis (?) I'm with Will above on Enemy of the State and I too love Something's Got to Give.. it's Nicholson for me, I raely hate anything he does. Agreed it's feel good movies, either comedy or where the ordinary hero wins out.

I have movies that I can watch over and over. Some movies I see once, enjoy them, but never need to see again. Not sure what magic some movies have but they do. Old favorites include The Wizard of Oz, 9 to 5 and Coal Miner's Daughter. New favorites are The Queen and The Devil Wears Prada.

How 'bout the Ford/Jones "Fugitive?" Maybe not infinitely re-watchable, but I'll sit through it every now and then and be impressed at how well it holds up! That, and Hackman/Smith in "Enemy of the State.
