So I got him outside, scrubbed out the mat and the kennel. And next I did what everyone would do. I googled "dog shit". No particular reason, it just occurred to me as something interesting to do. And yes I tend to obsess. A little...
Here are the top hits:
1- Hot chicks picking up dog shit
2- Dog shit on bed - video
3- Osama dog shit - Bin Laden funny pictures
4- Dog shit - uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia
5- You Tube - dog shit
6- Internet vigilantism
7- Dog shit girl (a Korean performer)
8- Economatix
9- Dog shit taco
10- Dogshit in Amsterdam
Okay, so I guess the videos make sense, people upload every crazy damn thing (I blame America's Funniest Home Videos). And Dog Shit Taco is just wrong. So is someone calling herself Dog Shit Girl.
Every dog gets sick. Hell, every person gets sick. Someday my lucky lucky husband may be diapering me. And yes I googled it, and yes I am writing about it. But I have standards...
And, uh, number one, Google people? Hot chicks picking up dog shit? No symbolism or hidden meaning there. I know cuz I clicked through. This is a real site that some twit set up. It is a collection of pictures of attractive smiling women doing you-know-what. For instant anywhere access, you can follow them on twitter.
And I think I waste my time? Clearly I am a friggin Einstein by comparison. Yep, I feel a whole lot better now...

Nothing compares to cleaning up dog shit and googling it. Yay. Friday night party. I hope your dog is okay.
Oh my... well you saved me having to google it..
Hope the doggy feels better..
Holy dog shit, Batman! And I thought I was the only one who googled any little thing that pooped...I mean POPPED, into my mind!
Love you forever, Brahm!
I curb my dog. I never thought of "you tubing it" that is a bit sick. I google allot of crazy things as well, but I never admit to it.

I'm just glad to hear this search didn't lead you back to any of our blogs!! hehehe

Why hello Einstein. Really? Really? Youtube? Google? I feel smarter now too. Thanks!
I was going through each one, thinking, REALLY? I got through the whole list am perplexed by each and every one. to which I say, people are a lot weirder than I originally thought.
So if I had posted photos of Murphy's giardia induced droppings, I could have picked up some extra blog traffic? Dang it!
Yikes. We also woke up this morning to diarrhea-esque poop all over the sofa and the rug. My dog, Dave, is going to be 15 on Jan 3 and he's been sick for a while. He just finished his meds and I think the last of the infection has now traveled to his intestines. He was coated in it, too, so I had to drag him into the shower and clean him up. He's a good dog but he's getting feeble.
I have three dogs. I completely understand. The things I've googled and posted online because of them...well, it happens when you have dogs.
Yep, looks like all us 'pet parents' get the glamorous poop-related tasks, don't we. Good thing we love the furballs so much.
Our pooch is feeling and doing way better tonight, which is fantastic!
Curious as to why you would Google it because that is the same kind of shit I would do (pun intended). Following....
I have owned dogs all my life. And I agree...they get sick sometimes. Sometimes it's a real shitstorm! But I've never googled "dog shit" before....that is...before I read your post. HAHAHA Strange what you find on google.
Ha ha ha! Why would you even search for "dog shit" in Google? It'll just give you a whole lot of shit. I guess a better search term would be "dog sick". LOL
I laughed when I scrolled down and saw your Google ads are now about "dog waste." This is what happens when you blog about dog poop!
With "naked girl" in my blog name, I see some very interesting keyword searches in Google Analytics. Some are just weird!
LOVE your dog! He is adorable.
Yikes! You were brave! Love your new name....Einstein!

Why did you not post a picture of your handsome stepdog, Quinn?
Yes, Kevin, you are right, I should post a pic of the Quinnster, and I will in another post. And he has been on here a couple of times before.
And I should also post a pic of my handsome hubby, he so loooves smiling for the camera.
Your stepdog and I have far too much in common at the moment.
Ok, my son, Molson Singer (8 year old pug) suffered from a similar problem recently, and I too googled dog shit - I did it b/c that's what I do when something out of the ordinary goes down in either of our lives. Anyway, he pooped again shortly thereafter (and this time in the house) so I never got to see the results. Thanks you for showing me what I missed.
Side note: I think you may in fact be my Canadian cyber soul-mate so I have added you to my blog roll. Perhaps I told you this last night during one of the three posts I believe I left, but I was drinking at the time. If so I apologize in advance.
